Welcome! Sign in please!

Hi. I'm Marilisa. I live in Michigan- 50th on the food chain. I am an unemployed teacher looking for a job. I am happily married, 21 years. 4 kids. Taxpayer. Citizen of the world.

I started this blog remembering back to the last election. After we voted, my husband and I needed a place to talk. We headed to Fricano's, our neighborhood tavern pizza joint (best pizza on the planet). Dozens of other patrons sported their 'I voted' sticker. The place was packed, on a Tuesday. It was as if we were at a town meeting. I think we all needed to connect with our neighbors.

That's what this blog is for. I'm opening it up to you, the American people. My neighbors. I can only open the blog to other contributors this way:

1)Click 'comment'. Send me your email address. I will add you as a contributor. And trust me buddy. No scamming here. I only regret that I have to use ads to generate traffic.
2)After that, sign in.
3)Tell us where you're from.
4)What you're up to.
5)What you're thinking as election time rolls around.

Do you get the idea that this whole thing is casual when it comes to any hoops to jump through on your part? I just want to generate a discussion board for citizens.

If you're not from America, please join us also. Tell us what you think about this whole election thing. ~ Marilisa
